SafetyCube Presentation at British Parliamentary Advisory Council – November 2017

On 2 November 2017, Prof. Pete Thomas from Loughborough University presented the European road safety Decision Support System (DSS) to the Parliamentary Advisory Council in the British House of Commons. There were over 50 road safety policy-makers and practitioners as well as Members of Parliament and of the House of Lords. The meeting was also attended by Jesse Norman, the Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for the Department for Transport who has responsibility for road safety. There was a considerable interest in the DSS and requests for further information about specific road safety risks and measures.
